B4 the wedding reception, I log on to tt.net to help a buddy interested in getting a Z. Then I read Ryan's stuff. Ryan, you are one awesome historian of car activities! Dude, get a job at Car & Driver (R&T) or something, seriously. But then I get pissed reading about some serious dumbasses. That's why I don't do these mass gatherings cuz there's always some people that TRY TOO FRICKIN' HARD!! Now I hate Honda's even more. And that M3, I've seen the dude before on Angeles Crest, Azusa Canyon, & Turnbull Canyon driving like an ass (I've trained there as a cyclist and seen him). An organized time trial at 1-2 min intervals, okay, but a mass gathering like this, yeah right. Man, I'd hate to have read anything that reminded me of Drewky's & others' tragedies. For those of you unfamiliar w/ Angeles Crest. It's about a 5000+ feet climb w/ chicanes and very steep cliffs w/ quite a few blind corners. Also a huge number of "racer" motorcyclistst train there on their superbikes and I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned or none of them smacked. Sorry, had a few crown royal shots and had to vent on this. I'm glad all you zeers came home. Jack.
